Education is rightly called the backbone of a nation. Our government’s vision is to create a smart Bangladesh by 2041. Education will be the key to realising that vision. The District Administration of Sherpur is committed to providing quality education through the Sherpur Collectorate School & College (SCSC). For that purpose, we have advanced several facilities inside and outside the classrooms. We have recruited skilled, experienced, and helpful teachers, ensured sound classroom infrastructure, renovated teachers’ rooms, and provided all extracurricular learning facilities. The vibrant environment of the institution offers students an opportunity to learn from their peers. We have also built shades for guardians right outside the main building. A few classrooms have been transformed into digital learning labs with the required smart devices, including computers and smart whiteboards. As the Chairperson of the institution and the Deputy Commissioner of Sherpur, I am fully invested in the institution. Our current campus is located in the centre of Sherpur city. However, with the growing number of students, we will need an additional campus. After realising the vision, we have allocated land for the new campus. We are hopeful that the new campus will offer more modern facilities and infrastructure. The students at SCSC are also bright. They have proven their excellence in academic and extracurricular activities. I hope the institution will continue to attract many students. We have engaged our best officers of the District Administration to work with SCSC. They regularly conduct classroom sessions and continue to inspire students. We are also open to discussion and receive suggestions from guardians and the civil society of Sherpur.
Thank you.
